Genome 453   J. Felsenstein
Evolutionary Genetics   Autumn, 2007

Syllabus

These readings are still approximate, because for some recent editions of these books I am working from the Table of Contents at the publisher's web sites, so just cite chapters. When I get to go through the actual books I will make the page references more exact.

There will be review sessions, one before each of the exams, at which you can ask questions. These will be scheduled by agreement between the class and me.

The final exam will be on Monday, December 10, 8:30-10:30 am   in the lecture room. (Comment -- that is the time and place they assigned. It is not a great time. We can agree to change it but this is hard as there is usually at least one person who can't do it at each other proposed time).

Abbreviations for authors of books (see the list at our web pages of Books on Reserve at OUGL):

H&C: Hartl and Clark (4th ed.)
F&H2: Freeman and Herron (2nd ed.)
F&H3: Freeman and Herron (3rd ed.)

Readings for Graur and Li are for either 1st or 2nd edition.
